Jasleen has been involved with hosting since 2013 when she began to co-host a weekly hip-hop radio show, "Crimes & Treasons" on CiTR Radio in Vancouver, Canada. With five years of producing, hosting, djing and interviewing numerous artists and guests, she has accumulated experience that allowed her to gain further opportunities that heightened her hosting career. She was the feature of a CBC Arts documentary, a Molson Canadian beer life style advertisement highlighting Canadian artistry and a Herschel Supply feature. Powar hosted the Vice Guide To Vancouver: Little India episode which followed her around South Vancouver showing the Indian community she grew up around. Her latest work was as the host of First We Feast's new show "Curry Shop" which was a groundbreaking food show that followed Powar around New York and LA while eating curry and engaging in cultural conversations with different influencers and celebrities.
